Josh Groban is a multi-platinum recording artist, multi-Grammy-nominated singer, and Tony Award-nominated Broadway actor—and he comes to the Rochester region on Tuesday, August 18 to perform at the Constellation Brands-Marvin Sands Performing Arts Center. He won’t be alone, though, or with a touring band. A familiar group of musicians will be on stage with him: members of the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra.
Beyond the major museums of Rochester is a community filled with artmakers of all mediums, together a simmering creative engine that powers Rochester’s artsy feel. Each month, the city’s smaller galleries, studios, and atypical arts spaces open their doors to the community for First Friday, a citywide gallery crawl that invites the public into the creative minds of featured local artists.
